AHA Cafe
Program Manager
Position Summary: Under general supervision of the Director, this
full-time position assumes responsibility for day-to-day operational
management of all activities and functions of AHA Café
supportive employment program including developing, implementing and
evaluating program policies, procedures and standards; determining
program service levels and enhancements; developing and monitoring
program budgets; providing technical advice and/or supervision to
staff, other departments, the public and other agencies, and performs
related work as required.
Major Duties:
• Maintain proper staffing levels
• Train and supervise staff
• Ensure cleanliness at all times
• Purchase and ordering
• Generate monthly reports of program progress
• Maximize sales through superior customer service and cost control
• Responsible for all cash procedures, receipts and deposits
• Collaborate with Director and fundraising coordinate to generate
corporate and foundation program support.
Fundraising
Coordinator
Position
Summary: Under the supervision of the Director responsible for
coordinating fundraising events such as our Desperate Divas Drag
Pageants, developing distribution agreements and order fulfillment of
Desperate Divas calendars and merchandise. Coordinates participation in
community events including event applications, logistics and volunteer
coordination. Grantwriting duties as assigned.
Major Duties:
• Coordinate logistics for Desperate Divas events
• Coordinate event volunteers
• Research and develop merchandise distribution relationships
• Responsible for timely and efficient fulfillment of merchandise
purchases
• Develop organizational applications for community event participation
• Promote fundraising events
• Write press releases
• Research and write funding grant applications as assigned
• Attend weekly staff meetings
• Provides general support to the work unit as directed
Intake
Coordinator
Position Summary: The Intake Coordinator is primarily responsible for
ensuring the smooth, timely and accurate intake of our members during
our Friday afternoon Drop-in Clinic. Will update and manage our
FileMaker member database, supervise volunteers and facilitate our
budgeting support group. Reports to the Director.
Desired Responsibilities:
• Prepare for weekly drop in clinic
• Update and manage FileMaker member database
• Track weekly service outputs and prepare monthly reports
• Train and supervise volunteers
• Maintain relationships with housing providers to track available units
• Lead weekly budgeting support group
• Implement quarterly member satisfaction surveys
• Attend weekly staff meetings
Qualifications: Ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail oriented,
able to multi-task, and is knowledgeable about the local social service
network. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced social service environment
that is responsive to people in crisis. Must be able to use Excel
and Word with FileMaker preferred. Must be able to craft effective
business communications. A commitment to the ideals and goals of a
growing and successful modern activist AIDS organization is a must.
